Strut

In the strut shoring system, horizontal or diagonal steel beams, commonly known as strut or compression members, are employed to stabilize excavation walls by bracing them against each other.
A significant advantage of strut elements is their non-intrusive nature. So, they are an ideal choice in areas where encroachment restrictions exist.
This earth retention system works in conjunction with other shoring systems like secant walls, Berliner walls, contiguous walls, diaphragm walls, etc. Typically, the vertical shoring walls are installed first, followed by the placement of strut elements as the excavation proceeds.
