Continuous Flight Auger (CFA)

Continuous flight augur (CFA) piles are type of bored pile, constructed by advancing a continuous auger in to the ground to the desired depth. As the augur reaches the base of pile shaft, concrete or grout is pumped through the center of the augur while it is gradually withdrawn to drill out the in-situ soil. A reinforcement cage can be also placed while the concrete or grout is still fluid, enhancing the bearing capacity and shear strength of the pile.
CFA piles are highly valued for their rapid installation process. They are an excellent choice for urban ad sensitive environments due to their minimal disturbance in terms of noise and vibration
